The good news is, Cedrick Bowers has made it to the Major Leagues.
The former Chiefland High pitching standout was called up by the Colorado Rockies from their AAA Colorado Springs Sky Sox team last Tuesday, July 1.
Since then, Bowers has been used in three games. The hard-throwing lefthander was solid is his first career outing on Wednesday, July 2, against the San Diego Padres, as he fired a shutout inning of relief work in a Rockies victory.
But the bad news is, were a little shaky for Bowers in his next two outings.
