Rally for Cure golf tournament helping fight against cancer

-A A +A

On Wednesday, Feb. 15, the Chiefland Women's Golf Association will be holding the Rally for the Cure golf tournament at the Chiefland Golf and Country Club.

Rally for the Cure® is a program that involves people who are committed to making an impact in the fight against breast cancer. Rally is an awareness program that provides a simple platform for people to educate their friends, family and community about the early detection of breast cancer. Its volunteer-organized golf, tennis and social events have communicated the important message that early detection saves lives to over 2 million people and have generated over $70 million for Susan G. Komen™ since 1996.

The tournament is a three-person scramble; teams should include men and at least one woman. The cost is $37 for club members and $47 for non-members, and includes lunch, prizes and fun.

There will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Participants should check-in at 8:30. Join us for a fun-filled day for a good cause. Call Chiefland Golf and Country Club to participate at (352) 493-2375.
