A Nov. 4 break-in at Chiefland High School included the removal of two football jerseys, a CHS football playbook, two dual DVD VCRs, three camcorders, and a Dell computer and monitor, according to Chiefland Police Det. Sgt. Chris Barwick.
The Quarterback Club, CPD Chief Robert Douglas said, is offering a $250 reward to the person who leads police to arrest one or more suspects in this burglary. The two jerseys taken were Number 1 and Number 9.
In a second break-in at CHS on Nov. 5, a window of a pod building was broken, but the thief or thieves failed to find what they were seeking, Barwick said.
Anyone with information about these burglaries at CHS is asked to call the Chiefland Police Department at (353) 493-6777.
