I am the project director for a program being conducted through the University of Florida. Our program is called Extension Family Lifestyle Intervention Project (E-FLIP for Kids) and is a healthy lifestyle intervention program designed for children 8 to 12 years of age and their parents who live in rural areas. The program is free for children and parents and we will actually be reimbursing families that participate in the program ($10 for each program meeting they attend). We have conducted the program in six counties to date and will be offering the program to families living in Levy county in August. We are working in collaboration with Albert Fuller at the Levy County Cooperative Extension Office.
We are interested in letting families in the community know about the opportunity to participate in the program.
Sincerely,
Crystal Lim
