Progress Energy supports education

   School Board Superintendent Robert Hastings; Amy Mangan, from Progress Energy; Levy County Schools Foundation Coordinator Angela Johnson; and Denny George, lead account executive, from Progress Energy, pose at this Tuesday’s school board meeting.
   The Progress Energy Foundation donated $20,000 to the Levy County Schools Foundation to assist with funding of certain training programs, such as welding, with an emphasis on S.T.E.M  programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.)
