A Chiefland man was arrested Friday after a witness said the man appeared to be masturbating in the woodline of a portion of the Greenway Trail. The witness noticed the man during a bike ride down the trail, according to a Chiefland Police report.
Coleman Wesley Jordan, 22, was charged with breach of peace, exposure of sexual organs and loitering or prowling, according to the report. The witness, James Edward Larsen, of Trenton, said he’d also seen Jordan’s sexual organs about three week’s prior when the man allegedly exposed himself while propositioning Larsen with an offer of oral sex.
Jordan was arrested and taken to the Chiefland Police Department. At first, the report states, Jordan denied allegations by Larsen, but then later admitted to the offense, claiming he’d been off his medication for several months.
“Mr. Coleman also stated that he always stops before he goes too far, however, he often gets these types of urges and sometimes considers rape and murder along with suicide,” the reporting officer wrote.
Jordan was taken to the Levy County Jail without further incident.
