Players present "Love, Laughter and Lucci" this weekend

-A A +A

Suwannee Valley Players present "Love, Laughter and Lucci," a comedy written by Cricket Daniel, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The play details an engaging story about three generations of the Santoro family, all living together under one roof, in West Haven, Conn. The result is this heartwarming comedy that will make you laugh, cry and cherish your family. Single mom Gloria (Bobbie Kidd) lives with her elderly father Sal (Mike Zubler) and her 18-year-old daughter Maria (Haley Bason). Recent high school graduate, Maria, has dreams of moving to New York City and acting on "All My Children" with Susan Lucci. Her devoted and loving grandfather, Sal, becomes Maria's videographer, manager, agent and number one support. Their unique attempts to get Maria recognized by the producers of "All My children" frustrates the practical Gloria.
Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 25-26, and a matinee performance Sunday May 27, at 2:30 p.m. All shows are at the Chief Theater, 25 E Park Ave, in downtown Chiefland. Tickets at $10 general admission, $8 students, seniors, and military personnel, and $5 for children under 12. Tickets are available at Curves of Chiefland and at the Chief Theater Box office one hour before the show.
