A full evening of racing at the Bronson Motor Speedway on June 16 saw six winners in six different racing divisions. Wade Parker and Chip Owens put on some of the most impressive performances of the night, winning their respective races by nearly a lap apiece.
Race 1: In his first career win, Paul White of Eustis directed the No. 25 car to a win by less than a car length over Mark Lands in the pro challenge race. Running third at the start of the race, White flew past Lands and polesitter Kevyn Terry of Citra to take the lead.
“I just let the guys in front of me take care of themselves,” White said.
After the pass, the No. 25 wouldn’t relinquish the lead. He held off a tough charge from both cars to win the most exciting race of the night. He came from fourth place after qualifing fourth in the five-car field.
