Old Town man arrested in Chiefland on drug charges

 The Levy County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force and Chiefland Police Department arrested Robert Daniel Jones, 21, of Old Town on April 27 on four drug charges.

He faces one charge of of sale of morphine, two counts of possession of morphine and possession of imitation marijuana which is a controlled substance.

Jones agreed to meet a confidential source in Chiefland and sell 100 morphine pills for $1,000. Jones sold 10 morphine pills for $200 and was immediately arrested without incident.  During the investigation, Jones had one morphine pill in his pocket and 12 grams of K2 (imitation marijuana).  

His bond is $85,000.
