Officials asking for caution near prescribed burn

A 400-acre prescribed burn is being conducted by Florida Forestry in the area of State Road 121 and County Road 326 in Levy County. 

   Smoke may impact roadways in the area. Conditions are expected to continue for the next several days.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling in these areas. Visibility may deteriorate quickly due to smoke/fog type conditions especially during the night time and early morning hours. Motorists are reminded to reduce their speed and utilize
