Marshal Myrick Jr., 22, was arrested for fleeing and attempting to elude a police office, resisting arrest without violence and driving with a suspended driver's license on March 6 by Agent Burt Miller, according to a Levy Sheriff's Office press release.
Miller and Agent Jay Bolton, both with the Levy County Drug Task Force, attempted to stop a white Buick for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to stop and accelerated to 55 mph in a 35 mph speed zone. When the driver continued through East Williston and bailed out of the car at Northeast 212 Court. The agents gave chase on foot, following as the driver jumped fences before being tackled and arrested.
Bond is $ 51,000.
