New trooper graduates assigned to Levy County

-A A +A

Ronald Rodriguez II and Matthew Geoffroy were among the 95 troopers who graduated last week from the Florida Highway Patrol Training Academy and set a record marking the first time in the Patrol’s 75-year history that two recruit classes trained and graduated simultaneously.

Both have been assigned to duties in Levy County with Geoffroy assigned to the Chiefland area and Rodriguez to the Inglis area. They will be with Troop B, which includes Levy.

The graduates join the more than 1,800 troopers who patrol the state’s roads each day to provide protection and assistance to Florida residents and visitors.
