The tentative realignments of football districts and classifications by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) looks favorable for the Chiefland, as the Indians move down to Class 1A District 5. Schools are assigned to classifications by population, and to districts by geography, and Chiefland High School now falls into a smaller population category.
Chiefland football head coach Ajay Ulmer likes the Indians' chances in the new district to which they've tentatively been assigned.
