Gary "Andy" Andrew Sullivan, 35, of Trenton told Levy Sheriff's Office deputies his girlfriend hanged herself on April 8 after they had an argument, but an investigation into  Summer Lynn Keller's death has resulted in his arrest on a second-degree murder charge, according to a Sheriff's Office press release.
Sullivan told deputies he called 911 after the two argued and Keller left the home while he was on the phone. When he went to look for her he thought she was standing by a tree near their home but found her hanging from the tree.
The investigation found inconsistencies in Sullivan's statements and the Medical Examiner's reports and forensic evidence did not support Sullivan's story, and the Medical Examiner ruled Keller's death a homicide.
Sullivan was sentenced two years ago for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
