The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, June 16, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. Some quilted and Joye brought in fabric that everyone had a great time looking for material for a future project. We always enjoy all the fabric that comes in because we can plan what our next project will be.
More quilts are being planned and will soon be put together and quilted. We keep Eleanor busy as she does quilts on her machine. We do only hand quilting here.
Greg and six boys were out Tuesday and got the mowing and watering done, as well as the planting of some flowers. Thanks Lancaster.
Thursday lunch was meatloaf, rice, peas, beans and potatoes, barbecue wings, corn casserole, noodle salad, potato salad, chicken salad, cake and Doris’s peach cobbler. All was so good.
I want to thank the Family, Hospice, the Log Cabin Quilters and all who came to the Celebration of Life for my son, George Robert (Bob) Chapman on June 11 at the Museum. A flag was donated in his honor and was given to his son, Richard. A lot of family pictures were brought in to enjoy and there was lots of laughter. Thank you again.
