Log Cabin Quilters for the Week of July 21

Director, Quilt Museum
The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, July14, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. We welcomed two ladies who came in to learn how to quilt. Alliene is a great teacher and we look forward to seeing how they will do.
We also welcomed three ladies from the Methodist Church who needed help putting an Ohio Star Quilt in the frame. We love to help with these projects, and when they get them finished they bring them in for us to see and enjoy.
Greg and six boys were out to mow and do all the things it takes to keep this place looking great. With all the great rain we are having, the grass is really growing. Thanks Lancaster.
Thursday lunch was special with beef stew, meat loaf, fried chicken, field peas, egg plant casserole, fried okra, beans, pound cake, Doris’s fig cake and so much more.  We had six visitors to eat with us.
We are located at 11050 N.W. 10th Ave. and are open 8-5 daily. The phone number is 352-492-2801.
