The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Sept 22, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. It was a special day with eight ladies from the Busy Bee of Old Town visiting. They come when they can as they are busy with their projects.
They also brought covered dishes so we had plenty of food for lunch. The fellowship and sharing of ideas with our guests made a great day.
Greg and six boys were out Tuesday and we had a great day getting so much done to the yard. The yard always looks great after their work. The rain we have had each day helps the grass and plants to grow.
Thursday lunch was great with fried chicken, squash casserole, potato casserole, pasta salad, two types of carrot salad, deviled eggs, beans, butter, pear preserves, apple pie, brownies, Jell-O, pineapple cake, and so much more.
We are located at 11050 N.W. 10th Ave., Chiefland. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, and our phone is 352-493-2801.
