The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, March 15, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. The ladies enjoy getting together and seeing the projects the others are working on. Pansy joined us for lunch and to get ideas on how to attach her no-quilt quilt squares. (I am not a quilter so I just had to see what they were talking about. Think about it, no quilt squares that are quilted.) We also had a visitor from the Morriston area that wants to learn how to put together the squares that her mom had started a few years back. She’ll be back next week to start work on her mom’s quilt.
Greg and six boys were out on Monday and got a lot done. They’re getting the yard ready for spring. More work inside was done. With their help, the Museum is beginning to have a new look inside and the outside is trimmed ready for everything to turn green and grow. Thanks Lancaster.
