The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Dec. 30 at the Levy County Quilt Museum.  It was a great day.  Everyone had a great Christmas, and now we are looking forward to a new year.  The Watermelon Quilt will be put in the quilting frame next and we have started selling tickets for it.

We had five guests, and one will be joining us to learn to quilt.  It’s so good to have so many back, although there are many out with one thing or another. Unfortunately, it seems like our prayer list is growing with so many who are sick.  We are thankful for our health and can do what we can.

When the boys from Lancaster come on Tuesday, we will clean the quilt room out, pack away Christmas crafts and get the room back so we can quilt in there.  We had a great quilt show this year, and the next event is the Florida State Fair in Tampa.  I want to thank everyone who sent cards and letters.  I really enjoyed every one. A few times, I even got a cards from people I haven't seen in a very long time.   Thank you.

Thursday lunch was so enjoyable with minestrone soup, green beans, corn casserole, collards, sweet potatoes, bread, cheese and macaroni, meat balls, cole slaw, yummy pie, cookies, Doris’ pumpkin bread, bread and butter pickles.
