Log Cabin Quilters: Jan. 13

-A A +A

 By WINNELLE HORNE

Museum director

The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Jan. 6 at the Levy County Quilt Museum.  It was great to have many back after so much that has happened.  Some were sick. Linda’s back from Alaska, and Pam is back from New York.

We still have a few spaces left on the bus that’s going to the Florida State Fair on Feb. 15.  The cost is $23 and includes a pass to get into the fair. Call 493-3801 for more information.

Greg and six boys were out on Tuesday.  We now have all the Christmas crafts put up, and they can be taken home by their owners until next year.

We are getting quilts and crafts ready to take down to the fair on Jan. 21.  We then go back down on Jan. 25 to help judge.  It is a busy time.

Thursday lunch was great with meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, bread, blueberry pie, pumpkin bars, cookies, coconut cake, Jell-O and lots more.  Everything was so good.
