The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. We are trying to get rid of some clothes so we will be taking some to Gainesville and other places.
Pat, Lois, Alliene, Toni, Laura, Kathie and I traveled to Tampa on Tuesday to judge quilts and crafts entered in the State Fair. It’s always a fun day but on the way back home, we had to stop in Crystal River as the weather was so bad. We found out that it was even worse further south.
We did get home safe thanks to our driver, Kathie, and our Lord. We also want to thank Percilla and Marylyn who kept the Museum open for us .
Our bus is almost full, if you want to go Feb. 15 to the fair, call 352-493-2801. The cost is $23 each. We will be leaving Chiefland at 7 a.m. and Williston at 7:30 a.m.
Thursday lunch was corn chowder, chicken salad, spaghetti, noodles, chili, eggs, donuts, chocolate pie, brownies, cherry pie and so much more.
