Log Cabin Quilters: Feb. 10

Director, Quilt Museum
The Log Cabin Quilters met on Feb. 3 at the Levy County Quilt Museum. Our days are so busy. We had eight big bags of fabric brought in – some we can use and some we have to find another place for it to go.  We know what we cannot use and the other place can use the fabric.
The Chiefland Homemakers use a lot and we share with them. We do have several bags of size 16 men’s clothing that we have available for the taking.
Mr. Kooty and six boys were out Tuesday and got so much done. The boys can do just about everything and we do appreciate them. Thanks Lancaster.
We are looking forward to going to the State Fair to see if we have won any ribbons.  We still have four spaces available, so anyone wanting to go on Tuesday, please call 352-493-2801. The cost is $23 per person.
Thursday lunch was great with fried chicken, stewed potatoes, turkey gravy, two pots of potatoes, a sweet potato casserole, eggs, green beans, pears, lime pie, pumpkin pie, rolls and so much more. We had 15 people for lunch.
