The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Aug. 11 at the Levy County Quilt Museum. We visited for a while to find out what projects are being worked on, find out how the sick are doing and what we plan to do down the road. The group quilt does get work done on it.
We had lots of scraps brought in that were leftovers from various projects even a couple of old quilts. Everyone loves so go through the scraps which will be used to do a new project.
Greg and six boys were out Tuesday and it rained all day so they worked inside and got the large rolls of batting cut into the various sizes for new quilts. Thanks Lancaster.
Thursday lunch was really enjoyable with fried chicken, rice, tomato gravy, fried okra, biscuits and jelly, chocolate cake, Peggy’s great cake and so much more.
