The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. The day was so busy looking through quilts, crafts and various books.

It was so good to see Pat and Al back with us.   She has gone through so much with her cancer treatments and we are very happy she is through with them and can be with us again.  We’re also happy that B.J. and Jannie can be with us again. It is good when most of the weekly quilters can be together.

Greg and six boys were out Tuesday. They mowed and cleaned the yard. One managed to get the many boxes of quilt and craft books put in order. There are so many books. Come out and take a look. Next week, the boys get to cut two large rolls of batting down into smaller sizes for our quilts. Thanks Lancaster.

Thursday lunch was great with fried chicken, rice, creamed corn, pea salad, deviled eggs, Jello, pears and so much more.
