The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, March 4, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. What a great day we had with so much going on. We had fabric and books that had been brought in which was shared with everyone.
B. J. was back with her two granddaughters. She is busy teaching them how to use fabric. They are willing to learn. She is a good teacher.
Our batting is in from North Carolina so Tuesday the Lancaster boys will measure, cut, fold, and tie it into three-yard lengths. We use a lot of this batting every year and it works great for the quilters.
The weather is so great, the yard grass is turning green and the birds are back. Maybe spring is coming. We’ll wait for a while before planting outside.
Thursday lunch was good with chicken and rice, peas, scalloped potatoes, macaroni shells, potato salad, beans, fried chicken, brownies, chocolate cake and so much more.
