Director, Levy County Quilt Museum
The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Levy County Quilt Museum. It was a very enjoyable day. It was so good to have Goldie, Ann and Cleo back from their vacation.
Quilters started quilting on their next quilt that is in the frame. When one is finished, we put another one on the second frame. That way there is always something to work on. Ann and Peggy will be hemming two quilts, one that was just finished and one donated by Faye Henderson. Faye also brought several bags full of old goodies. Thanks Faye.
A lady also brought in several boxes and bags of quilt fabric and what have you. We will be putting it out to see what we can use.
Greg and eight boys were out Wednesday and got so much done, even peeling pears to make pear relish. We are so thankful that the boys like to what ever has to be done. Thanks Lancaster.
Thursday lunch was great with vegetable soup, Harvard beets, peas, two kinds of noodles with chicken, biscuits, banana bread, lime pie, chocolate and so much more.
