  In the most recent presidential election there were numerous politicians running for the office of president while still collecting their full pay as senators from their respective states.  It’s a sweet deal that allows you to receive  full pay and not even show up for work while looking for a new job. Here in Florida we have a similar situation with our own Charlie Crist campaigning to be a U.S. Senator while being paid to be our governor.
