My husband and I are presently deployed to Guantanamo Bay Naval Station, Cuba. Our home of record is Inverness, Florida. On a recent trip home, we were traveling along Rt. 19 on our way to Tallahassee and eventually to Pensacola to visit our children and grandchildren.
While we were driving through your lovely city, our car broke down. It was early on Saturday morning, 18 April 2009. Luckily, we were first helped by one of your gracious citizens who pushed our car out of an intersection. Moments later, Mr. Cody Maynard stopped to help also. Mr. Maynard was not only able to secure a tow truck for us but also arranged for the availability of a rental car for us at the Dodge dealership in Chiefland.
We hope you will extend our utmost appreciation to Mr. Maynard for taking the time to aid us. He was not only professional but also courteous and is definitely a remarkable citizen of your city.
We would also like to thank the folks at the Dodge dealership who made every effort to get us to our destination on Saturday. Kevin, Thank you!
