Jason Langworthy, Perkins State Bank consumer/commercial lender, has been awarded the Florida Banker’s Association Florida School of Banking Honor Graduate for the Class of 2009.

Each year, the FBA Florida School of Banking presents an Honor Graduate Award to a graduating senior.

This individual is chosen from the top 10 percent of the class by the program directors and staff.

On August 7th, Jason and his classmates graduated from the three-year program which provides bank personnel with knowledge of the banking industry and the economy.

Of his class of over 70 bankers, Jason was among 17 who graduated with honors.

Todd Etheridge, executive vice president of Perkins State Bank, praised Langworthy's achievement:

“You are to be congratulated on completing three years of intense classroom and home studies and for achieving this most prestigious award. We are very proud of your accomplishment.”
