The regular softball season is coming to an end tomorrow night when the Chiefland High School Lady Indians, 7-10 for the season, travel to Jasper on Friday, April 12, to face Hamilton County whose overall record is 6-8.
When the two teams met on Feb. 8 in Jasper the Lady Indians prevailed 12-8.

It was Newberry who gave the Lady Indians their latest victory a week ago.

Newberry started off with 1 run in the first inning and 2 in the second, but CHS responded with 2 runs of its own. In the third inning, CHS added 3 more runs and another in the fourth, while Newberry came up dry.
In the sixth inning the Lady Indians brought in 2 more runs. Newberry's scores came on 8 hits while Chiefland scored 13 for 13.
