The Chiefland Middle School girls basketball team turned on the jets in the second half aganst visiting Fort White on Thursday, Dec. 6, powering the Lady Braves to a 33-16 victory.
Chiefland trailed 12-9 at halftime but went on a 17-2 burst to start the second half.
On Tuesday, the CMS boys defeated Trenton, 33-29. Hermie McClendon led the way with 14 points. Marcus McMahon had eight points. Deric Allen had seven points and Deshawn Roland had four.
