Iron Bears top Indians in close match; Eagles trail

With a whole lotta woofin', Chiefland weightlifting seemed on the verge of capturing a triple crown over Dixie County Friday, trying to cap their football and basketball wins with a victory in the weight room. It was not to be. As both teams exhorted their lifters to greater achievement, the Bears hung on in the middle divisions to overcome the host Indians by just two points. Guest Bronson finished far behind. Final scores were Dixie County 46, Chiefland 44 and Bronson 18.
