Indians fail to cash in early opportunities against Trinity Catholic

OCALA -When opportunity comes knocking at the door, someone better be there to answer.

The Chiefland High football team had two golden chances to take it to Trinity Catholic early in last Friday night's key Class 2B District 4 game, but the Indians failed to cash in.

The Celtics ?more precisely running back Derrick Dempsey ? took the ball and ran with it, rolling to a 37-13 victory.

Dempsey, a 5-foot, 8-inch dynamo transfer from The Villages, seemed impossible to tackle, running for more than 200 yards and three touchdowns.
