Indians’ playoff hopes take a major hit

-A A +A
By Ryan Butler

Though the high school football season is technically more than half-way over, this is the true midpoint of Chiefland’s season. Heading into its bye-week the Indians are an impressive 4-2 with both losses coming in close games at Union County and last Friday against Newberry. Both teams are ranked near the top of class 1A.
No matter what happens in the second half, Chiefland’s season has been, at the very least, a tremendous improvement from recent history. But that alone won’t get them into post season play.
