If you have ever wanted to sell that prize-winning spicy peanut brittle, or your mom's famous pecan pie, but just cannot afford a commercial kitchen facility, then the Commercial Kitchen Incubator Initiative Survey needs your input.
Research has found that people will drive 80 miles to take advantage of a commercial kitchen where they can process their own value-added product.
The facility would be rented by the hour and provide additional business support services would be available via the incubator for all interested food-based start-ups.
It will be located in Alachua County and will offer community education and an outreach component.
