Honored for serving vets

   Nancy Reissner, acting director of the Malcom Randall Veterans Administration in Gainesville, awarded Dorothy J. Caldwell a certificate of appreciation. She has served 28 years and 26,000 hours to the hospitalized veterans at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, in Gainesville, through their voluntary service program.
   Dorothy is a life member and past commander of the Disabled American Veteran Auxilliary, Unit 65 in Cross City. She also serves as Deputy DAVA Representative for the state of Florida at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital.
