Haven Hospice introduces Haven on Wheels to enhance patient services

Haven Hospice volunteer Shellie Shelton truly embodies the meaning of care and compassion.
Shelton drives Haven patient Mary Wardlaw from Bronson to Chiefland and back every month to shop at Walmart. Shelton helps Wardlaw move about the store and pull items from the top shelf, as Wardlaw is unable. Shelton and Wardlaw enjoy the travel time together and have found they have a lot in common. Wardlaw would not be able to do her monthly shopping it if wasn’t for Haven on Wheels.
