Girls JV finish up fine season

The future of the Chiefland High girls basketball looks bright.

The Lady Indian junior varsity basketball team finished up a fine season on Tuesday, Jan. 22, with a 37-30 victory over visiting Taylor County.

Chiefland finished with a record of 6-2.

C.J. Jack led Chiefland with 12 points. Madalyn McCray and Janessa Barrios each chipped in with 10 points apiece. Charlene Davis had five points.

Coach Emily Gore was encouraged by the JVs solid season. The two losses were close encounters against Yonge.
