Gent, Harris best week ever

Two former Chiefland High football players had outstanding weekends on the college gridiron.

Cortez "Snoop" Gent, who graduated from CHS in 2005, is a sophomore wide receiver at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.

Florida Atlantic plays Division I football in the Sun Belt Conference.

Gent, who stands 6-2 and weighs 185 pounds, had the best game of his college career in a painful 33-30 triple overtime loss to visiting Louisiana-Monroe.
