According to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumers Services, Florida has nearly 24 million acres of forests, croplands and ranches, and the products produced on these lands have a big impact on the economy. Over 200 Kindergarten students from Chiefland Elementary School and Whispering Winds Charter School learned some of their first lessons about Florida Agriculture at the Chiefland FFA Land Lab when the Middle and High School FFA students hosted their 8th Annual “Fun Day on the Farm.”
