The accounts payable clerk for the Town of Inglis has been arrested and charged with taking personal charges on the town's credit card, according to a Levy County Sheriff's press release.
Sheriff's investigators working with auditors from Beauchamp & Edwards accounting firm in Chiefland discovered approximately $23,290.00 of undocumented charges to the towns credit card account.
Town employee Sandra Lambert told Investigator Jay Crooms that she had been charging personal business to the town charge account beginning in September 2009.
