Four people were injured on Saturday, Oct. 19, shortly after 5 p.m. after a vehicle failed to come to a stop at a stop sign at U.S. Highway 41 and County Road 323 south of Williston, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Jonna Marie Russell, 46, of Summerville, sustained critical injuries and was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center, while her passenger Jason Prough, 47, of Morriston, suffered minor injuries.
Ruth Harriet Phillips, 78, and Parker Phillips, 16, both of Williston, had minor injuries and were treated at UF Health Shands Hospital.
