Father, sons summit Mt. Ranier

Some fathers like to spend quality time with their sons out on a ball field or on a lake. For area orthodontist Bill Martin and his sons, it’s more likely on top of a 14,000-foot tall mountain.
On July 1, Martin and his two sons completed their most recent trek up Washington’s Mt. Ranier, the most topographically prominent mountain the lower 48 states of the U.S.  It was a way for the avid climber to reconnect with old friends from his time living in the Pacific Northwest, as well as another opportunity to bond with his two favorite other climbers.
