BRONSON –The Town of Bronson, like a lot of people, could use a quick $14-18 million.
Unlike most people, Bronson wants to spend it on expanding its sewer capacity. New Mayor Franklin Schuler said it is a priority.
Only 15 percent of the residential homes in Bronson have sewer service. The rest are on septic systems.
Schuler and other Town Council members were pretty much left scratching their heads on how to solve the problem. Grant money already had been exhausted and borrowing the money would be the only solution, he thought.
