Ella Louise Osteen, Restauranteur, bird watcher

Ella Louise Osteen, 87, of Cross City, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Cross City Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.  

Mrs. Osteen was born in Claxton, Ga., and moved to Eustis, where she grew up.  She married Johnny Osteen and moved to Horseshoe Beach in Dixie County in 1943.  She and her husband fished and ran a fish house and restaurant for many years.  She was a member of the Cross City Church of God and enjoyed bird watching, reading and sewing.
