Deward “Dewey” Puckett Wade, 83, of Old Town died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at his residence.
He was born June 8, 1928 in Dublin, Ga., to Homer and Donna Wade. He moved to Old Town in 1968. He retired as a business owner in the restaurant industry. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Lord of Old Town; son, Bill Wade of Old Town; sister, Sarah Bernice Green of Montrose, Ga.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and daughter, Sue NesSmith.
