Department of Public Safety visits CES

-A A +A

April is recognized as National 9-1-1 Education Month, and, with this in mind, the Levy County Department of Public Safety (LCDPS) approached the Chiefland Elementary School to present 9-1-1 information to children. LCDPS invited Chiefland Fire Rescue to join the team to deliver the information to students in grades 3 through 5. The two Departments were at the school for three hours April 2, teaching the children when to call 911 and what information they would be asked if they ever had to make that call.
