CWGA's Invitational draws crowd

The Chiefland Women's Golf Association hosted its annual Ladies Invitational Tournament on April 6 at the Chiefland Golf and Country Club. We had 47 women competing from as far away as Brooksville and Palatka. The greens superintendent and his crew worked hard cleaning up the course after the winds and rain that hit Central Florida on Tuesday.

Our president, Freida Martin, deserves a lot of credit for her work in guiding all of us in the various duties that it takes to have a successful tournament.
