It’s been five long years, but county workers will see a 3 percent pay raise in the checks they receive on June 20.
The Levy County Commission unanimously ratified an agreement with Florida Public Employees Local 630 of Laborers' International Union of North America, AFL-CIO, during its Tuesday meeting that calls for the raise. The vote was 3-0 with Commissioners Danny Stevens (R-District 5) and Chad Johnson (R-District 2) absent from the meeting.
