The Levy County Commission will hold a public hearing on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. to allow public comment on a proposal to extend alcohol sales hours from midnight to 2 a.m. in the unincorporated areas.
Commissioners said they had heard from the public, with Commissioner Chad Johnson of Chiefland saying most of the comment he received was against the measure.
The hearing will be at the County Courthouse in Bronson.
